Controlling Anger

Anger is a serious emotion that can spiral out of control and become an overwhelming problem at home, at work, in personal relationships, and in all sorts of dealings with other people.

With counseling, clients can successfully learn how to manage their anger. Clients will learn how anger works, how people react to their anger, and how to deal with it through three main strategies – expressing angry feelings, suppressing angry feelings, and calming down. Anger management techniques are provided to help clients become more active and turn their negative emotions into positive emotions.

The anger management program provided by Horizon is an 8 week individual program. An individual program provides scheduling flexibility.

  • Initial intake with evaluation
  • 6 counseling sessions
  • 2nd evaluation to determine if the program was successful or if more sessions are required

The cost for this 8 week program is $220, which can be paid over the 8 weeks.
