Psychological evaluations are required for certain pre-surgical procedures, including weight loss surgery.  You may require one for a DCF matter.  A potential employer may require one for certain jobs.  A judge may ask that you have one for anger, custody, or any other reason.

An evaluation normally takes between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours.  The written report is usually finalized in 7 to 10 days.  If you are currently in the care of another mental health provider, additional information and consultation with that person may be needed in order to complete the evaluation.  That will be discussed before you make an appointment

The cost for a one session psychological evaluation with a written report is $75.
